Welcome to my website! I am so excited to be able to share my portfolio, press updates, and blog with you all!
My March 2014 HUSTLER centerfold, which was expanded from the regular 12 pages to 14 (I am told this rarely happens so I am very flattered), will hit the shelves on Christmas Eve 2013! An easy date to remember! And of course, I will be holding signings shortly afterward. I look forward to meeting those of you who can come out to them!
I am also currently working on a memoir manuscript that chronicles the journey from where I was as a high school English teacher, to where I am now, a HUSTLER model and Florida Atlantic University M.A. student studying English Literature with a focus on American Modernism and Postmodernism. First and foremost, prior to my modeling career, I knew in my heart that writing was my calling. When I was published in the USA Today at age 13, I knew that I had what it took to actually be successful as an author. I still remember my seventh grade English teacher, Ms. Hallowell, calling me up around 4pm one afternoon to tell me that my essay was chosen, out of all the middle school submissions in the nation, to be published with my photo on the front page of the “Sports” section alongside those of the high school and college level winners. This was one of the greatest moments of my life. It affirmed, for me, that writing was it. It was what I was born to do, so to speak. I have had great success with my poetry, particularly, since my middle school days. Naturally, I am a poet, but am now getting into more creative nonfiction in preparation for putting together the manuscript for what I hope to be only the first of my memoirs. I am really excited to be querying literary agents and publishers with my proposal. I will keep everyone updated through my blog posts as well as provide some samples of my writing for your enjoyment!
Thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you continue to enjoy all my work in both modeling and writing. It’s an exciting time and I am overjoyed to be able to share my experiences through the miracle we call the World Wide Web!
